From
Northern VA -90 miles
Take 95S to the Thornburg exit 118. Take
a right onto Rt 606. Follow Rt 606 which will turn into Rt 208. Follow
Rt 208 past the high school on the left and make the next left. This
is also Rt 208. Follow Rt 208 until it comes to a tee at the intersection
of Rt 522. Make a right onto Rt 522. Follow for a mile and a half and
we will be on the right before you cross the bridge.
From
Richmond VA -50 miles
Take 64 W to the Gum Springs Exit #159. Turn right onto
Rt 522N until it comes to a tee. Turn left also onto 522 N. 522
will make another right just after you pass Moore's Marine on the right.
Continue following 522 into the town of Mineral. Just after passing
the Exxon station make a right onto 522, cross the RR tracks and make
a left remaining on 522. The campground is 6.5 miles from this turn
on the right. Our driveway is before you cross the bridge.
From Charlottesville, VA-40 miles
Take 64E to the Ferncliff exit. Turn left onto Rt. 208
and follow into Louisa until you come to a stoplight. Turn right at
the light onto Rt. 22/208 continuing until you get to the town of Mineral.
Turn left at the stoplight onto Rt 522N, cross the RR tracks and make
another right staying on Rt 522 for 6.5 miles. The campground entrance
will be on the right just before you cross the bridge.
From Rt 301
Follow Rt 301 to Rt 17 to Rt 1 (Massaponax). Take
a left onto Rt 1. Follow Rt 1 to Rt 606. There is a stoplight, take
a right onto Rt606 which will turn into Rt 208. Follow Rt 208 past the
high school on the left and make the next left. This is also Rt 208.
Follow Rt 208 until it comes to a tee at the intersection of Rt 522.
Make a right onto Rt 522. Follow for a mile and a half and we will be
on the right before you cross the bridge.
From Culpeper, VA-30 miles
Exit Rt 29 south onto Rt 3 East From Rt 3 East exit onto
Rt 522 south toward Mineral. Follow Rt 522S for approximately 15 miles.
You will come to a stoplight at Unionville(Rt 20). Continue straight
through this light for 13 miles crossing the lake 3 times . We are immediately
after the third crossing on the left. |
